Jackdaw Book for Android and iPhone, built on the same local-first foundation as the website.

The mobile apps use the same encrypted, passcode-protected local storage as this website. Nothing is collected, nothing leaves your device, and there is no account to create. Additional features are in active development ahead of release.

A look at the app

Person profile

The book screen listing everyone saved, with their relationship and how many memories are attached — Your book

A person's connections screen listing their wife, daughter, and pet with relationships and birthdays — Connections

A circle drawn as a turning ring of faces, with the circle's people at the centre — The circle ring

Why a mobile app at all

The website already works on a phone's browser, and always will. The native apps exist for the moments a browser can't reach: offline access, a home-screen icon, and a passcode lock that unlocks with your device's own fingerprint or face unlock rather than typing every time.
